Gentian Mucollari Biography

Gentian is a founding partner of TIFFAS.

He graduated from the University of Tirana in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree and later in 2010 with a master’s degree in business administration. Upon graduation, he worked as finance and accounting officer in the brewing industry, where he gained a wide and plentiful experience not only in his field of expertise, but also in business management, start-ups, international business etc.

During his working experience in the manufacturing industry, Gentian had the opportunity to participate in the set-up of several new businesses in the West Balkans region and in West Africa. He has been part of public consultations in the drafting of the different laws related to excise products in Albania.

Gentian became a Certified Accountant in Albania in 2014, and from 2015 together with his business partner founded their own firm, meanwhile maintaining his job as head of the financial reporting unit in a private company. He is a member of Institute of Certified Accountants (IKM) in Albania, which is a member of IFAC.

Starting from 2016, Gentian has been part of many international projects related to investments in water supply utilities and urban waste management in Albania as a financial expert, offering his expertise in financial modelling, analyses of the financial statements, affordability analyses, financing gap analyses, customer care management etc.   

From 2021 he has focused all his efforts on the management of his accounting firm, aiming the continuous improvement of the services, widening the range of services, and increasing the portfolio of the clients. 

Gentian has gained a widespan of expertise starting from bookkeeping, financial reporting, taxes, financial modelling, financial analyses, outsourcing, business consulting and lately in auditing and international taxation issues and is willing to use this opportunity in further development of his service business. His areas of focus include manufacturing, professional services, hospitality, business intermediaries, retail, and wholesale. 

He is fulfilling his goal of obtaining an ACCA certification, which will be another milestone in the professional journey.

Gentian has been a contracted assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana since 2010.
